The Center for International Regulatory Assistance (CITRA) offers assistance, products, and services for:

Manufacturers, exporters, and related service organizations are increasingly realizing the importance of trade regulations and their effect on a manufacturer's ability to export products.

CITRA was created in 1999 with partial funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Trade Development Division. Since then, CITRA has assisted over 1,500 companies with their CE marking efforts, received numerous accolades from the international business community, received a national award, and has gained a national reputation for offering clear and concise assistance. The European Union funded dozens of CITRA seminars on CE marking and environmental regulations all over the United States in the summer of 2005.

Our staff members travel extensively throughout Europe to maintain seasoned relationships with the development and regulatory bodies that maintain the CE marking system. This enables CITRA to offer its clients the most current technical information and compliance strategies available.

CITRA products and services include consulting, public and private training seminars, guidance publications and software. CITRA is also an official distributor of European product standards, which can be used to facilitate compliance with CE marking.

Specifically, our products and services offer solutions for European "New Approach" directives, international product standards (ISO, European, Chinese), conformity assessment options, documentation readiness and preparation, product testing, laboratory, and notified body selection.

CITRA participates in industry tradeshows, contributes to technical journals and industry magazines, and offers its services nationwide. Our clients range from small companies to large multinational conglomerates.
